To bring beauty and balance through building

Modern Buildings = Climate Change

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) identifies that the building sector of the economy consumes nearly half (48.7%) of all energy produced in the United States. About the same amount of energy consumed by transportation (28.1) and industrial (23.2%) energy use combined. The building industry is the single largest emitter of anthropogenic (human-created) climate change.

Eco Village Project Of Fresno
Pilot sleeping pods

Dakota EcoGarden provides safe and dignified living spaces in an environmentally sustainable manner, giving each resident the educational, emotional and physical tools, caring support and training to escape the cycle of homelessness. Started by renowned local architect, Art Dyson, many of the pilot sleeping pods have won architectural awards for their innovation. Art, Dakota EcoVillage, and Valley Adobe teamed up to create pilot structure #4, a hexagonal adobe structure that will utilize thermal mass of adobe to create cool, quiet, and safe space for DEG residents for years and years to come.
